Local documents and resources
PDFs, images, fonts, and projects are processed by code running in your browser. CartaPDF does not send them to a database or remote storage service. Drafts, restore versions, and reusable resources remain in the local storage assigned to this site.
Technical access data
To deliver and protect the site, the hosting infrastructure may process technical data such as IP address, date and time, requested page, security identifiers, and browser or device information. Network requests used to load the application do not include the content of PDFs opened locally.
Aggregate visit statistics
When anonymous statistics are enabled, Vercel Web Analytics receives a page view with date and time, URL path only, approximate region, browser, operating system, and device type. Query strings, fragments, draft identifiers, file names, document contents, and tool events are excluded. The service uses no cookies and creates a hash from the request that changes daily, without reconstructing browsing across different days or websites. The site’s no-referrer policy also limits referral data.
Purposes and legal bases
Technical data is processed to provide the service, maintain security and continuity, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations. Aggregate statistics are used to understand access levels, improve navigation and usability across devices, and identify general service issues. Legal bases are performance of the requested service, compliance with legal obligations, and the controller’s legitimate interests in security and product improvement, balanced through data minimisation, no cookies or profiling, and immediate objection controls.
Providers and transfers
The site and aggregate statistics are provided through Vercel, Inc., which may process technical data under its agreements, security measures, and applicable safeguards for international transfers. Source code is managed on GitHub; ordinary use of the editor does not send PDF content to GitHub. Further details are available in the Vercel Web Analytics privacy information.

Browser data remains until you delete it, clear site data, or the browser removes it to manage storage. CartaPDF has no server copy of drafts. Vercel discards the visitor hash after 24 hours; aggregate statistics remain available for the reporting period of the active Vercel plan. Any technical logs are kept for periods configured by the provider and required for security, diagnostics, and legal obligations.
Rights, objection, and complaints
For personal data processed by the controller, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, or object where provided by Regulation (EU) 2016/679. You can object to anonymous statistics at any time on the Cookies and local data page; CartaPDF also honours Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. For other requests, contact info@weavesrl.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority.
