Service
CartaPDF is a browser-based PDF editor that requires no account. Features depend on browser capabilities and document format. Use of the site constitutes acceptance of these terms.
Authorised use
You may use the service only for documents you are authorised to view and modify, in compliance with law and third-party rights. Do not use CartaPDF for unlawful or harmful content or in breach of copyright, confidentiality, or data-protection rights. Removing document protection requires the owner’s authorisation and a valid owner password.
Storage and copies
Drafts are stored in the browser and are not a guaranteed backup. You are responsible for downloading results, exporting important projects, and safeguarding passwords and files. Clearing site data, private browsing, or automatic storage management may make local data unavailable.
Checking the result
Always check the downloaded PDF before sending, signing, printing, or archiving it, especially after operations involving forms, pages, fonts, images, protection, or complex documents.
Signatures and visual replacement
Graphic signatures are visual elements and do not by themselves constitute qualified electronic or digital signatures. Visual replacement covers an area and adds new text, but it does not semantically remove the underlying content and must not be used to redact confidential information.
Compatibility and availability
Encrypted PDFs, digital signatures, dynamic forms, embedded fonts, or non-standard structures may not support every transformation. The service may be updated, suspended, or changed for maintenance, security, or technical evolution.
Liability
The service is provided with reasonable professional care. To the extent permitted by law, Weave Srl is not liable for losses caused by deletion of local data, misuse, document incompatibility, or failure to check the result. Liability that cannot legally be excluded remains unaffected.
